Product Design
Design with a user-first approach. Good UX design brings an abundance of value to a company by fulfilling customers’ needs.
Communicate with clarity, delegate to appropriate team members and problem solve. I like to think of leading my team rather than managing them.
Create clean, visually pleasing, user-friendly designs based on the customers’ needs.
Positivity, collaboration, and respecting role boundaries is key!
Design has always been an important part of my life. I enjoy every aspect of design from designing my life and conversations to products and kitchen recipes. It brings me joy!
From an early age, I’d always connected with the people around me. I’d set aside my judgments and listened to what others had to say. When the moment felt right, I would ask questions to dig a little deeper to understand just a little bit better. I noticed how this allowed me to treat the people around me with more compassion and kept my mind open to what is unfamiliar to me.
I started my career in real estate in my early 20’s working for property owners all over the westside of Los Angeles. I gravitated toward management and leading onsite teams. I moved on to service design pivoting traditional apartment communities into extended-stay or temporary homes for travelers. My goal was to create unique experiences for my guests.
Although I started my career there, I knew deep down that my heart was set on design. I knew I had to achieve my childhood dream and become a designer. I wanted to create more experiences for people in the world of technology.
Naturally, my two worlds merged in such a beautiful way into UX Design.
I have since worked with many reputable brands as a UX Designer such as, UCLA, Raleigh & Drake, Panasonic Avionics, Norman’s Nursery, Groundz, Somerset West, Weed.com, and more.
